The offered Brass Hex Nuts are corrosion resistant in wet environments, electrically conductive, and non-magnetic. About half the height of standard hex nuts, they are useful in low-clearance applications but have less tensile strength. The nut has a plain finish. It has six flat sides that a wrench can grip to turn from the side, enabling use when there is no space above the nut. Brass provides corrosion resistance and offers thermal and electrical conductivity. The Brass Hex Nuts are very efficient.
